Status Dukaan: privacy policy

In short

Status Dukaan works without an account. Your name, photo and choices are stored only on your phone. Posters are made on your phone and go only where you send them.

What stays on your phone

Your name, business name, phone number and tagline; your photo; your app and greeting languages; your home state and town; the festivals you celebrate; and your theme. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes all of it. We don't receive a copy.

Location (optional)

Only if you tap "Use my location", the app asks Android for your approximate (city-level) location and turns it into a state and town on your phone. The coordinates are not stored or sent anywhere; only the state and town you confirm are saved, on your phone. You can refuse, and pick your state from the list instead.

Photos and posters

Photos you choose stay on your phone. Posters are created on your phone and saved or shared only when you tap Save or Share, to the app you pick (for example WhatsApp).

When the app uses the internet

To fetch new posters, and to suggest your home state from your connection (your internet provider's region, not your exact location). If you ask for AI wishes, the text you type is sent to our server, which asks Google Gemini to write them. We don't keep these requests or link them to you.

Server logs

When the app talks to our server, the server keeps basic technical logs for a few days to find and fix problems: the time, the address requested, the result and how long it took. They contain no names, photos, phone numbers or IP addresses.

Deleting your data

Everything is stored on your phone, so uninstalling the app or clearing its data (Android Settings, Apps, Status Dukaan, Storage, Clear data) deletes it completely. We hold no copy to delete.

What we never do

We don't sell your data, show ads based on your data, or ask for contacts, messages or files.

Children

Status Dukaan is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

If this policy changes, the new version will be shown here with a new date.
